This is my version of one of the greatest dishes of South Africa! You might be surprised by the long and unique list of ingredients. While beef and chutney may not be typical for an American breakfast, you’ll find it is a nice change of pace. The dish works well for a hearty brunch, though you can also serve it later in the day for dinner.

Make it a full breakfast and serve with pancake, chai, sausages and/or a fruit bowl. Serve guava, mango, or passion fruit juice to drink.
